From a small dive center to one of the leading diving operators on the Red Sea
Our Story
Sadko Safari Fleet was founded in Hurghada in 1999 as Sadko Dive Centre.
Back then, we started small — with just ten sets of equipment, a single compressor, and rented boat. But thanks to dedication, passion, and a growing reputation for quality, we steadily expanded.
We became known for daily diving and scuba training. Soon, we opened our own three-story office in the heart of Hurghada and launched two of the city’s finest daily diving boats at the time: Mayflower and Sunflower, as they stood apart from other boats with their stylish modern design .

And in 2022, we proudly introduced MV Springland — not just another liveaboard, but a unique concept in the Red Sea: a high-speed, full-size safari yacht dedicated to daily diving.

Boris Eydis
Owner and CEO
Boris is the owner and general manager of Sadko Safari Fleet, with an extraordinary background in underwater sports. He has been diving since the 1970s, coached national finswimming teams, and taught at the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism. A Platinum Course Director with NDL, Boris brings decades of expertise, leadership, and a deep passion for the sea to everything we do.

Julia is a co-owner of Sadko Safari Fleet and the creative heart of our team. A passionate diver with a deep love for the sea, she brings inspiration to our brand and often joins trips as a dive guide herself.

Leo Eydis
Co-owner / Booking & Logistics Director
Leo is co-owner of Sadko Safari Fleet and the person who keeps a thousand moving parts running smoothly. He manages bookings, works with agents and partners, oversees logistics, and handles everything in between. A passionate diver and sea lover, he knows our routes inside out — and even personally created some of our signature itineraries. Always available and always in the loop, he’s the one to turn to when you need answers.

Nadia Kuznetsova
Director of Sales
Nadezhda is our Director of Sales, and she combines her professional role with a deep passion for diving. An avid diver, she’s always eager to explore new dive sites and would give her soul for the chance to find a rare nudibranch. Regularly joining our trips, she has a firsthand understanding of our yachts and itineraries, making her the perfect guide to help plan your dive adventure.

Chief Operations Officer
Hamdy has been with Sadko since the very beginning — and remains one of its most essential pillars. You’ve probably never seen or heard of him, and that means everything is running smoothly. He’s the one who keeps our fleet operational: fuel, supplies, maintenance, dry docks, marina fees — it’s all under his watch. Thanks to his quiet precision, every trip begins on time and hassle-free.

Executive Chef
Haitham is the executive chef behind all the menus across our fleet. A true culinary mastermind, he’s the one who makes sure every meal on board is both delicious and nourishing. From creating balanced menus to controlling supplies and selecting the best ingredients, Haitham brings flavor, care, and creativity to every plate.

Mohamed Gaffar
Permits and Legal Affairs Manager
Mohamed is in charge of all our documents and legal permits. With many years of experience, he knows the ins and outs of every approval process. Each safari trip requires permits from five different authorities — and thanks to his precision and dedication, our yachts always leave port fully compliant, with all fees paid and paperwork in perfect order.

Kamal has switched from IT world to the underwater one and never looked back since! Well-known for his positive attitude, he's also famous for his multilangual skills - he fluentlly speaks five languages!

Daria has been living in Egypt for over 20 years and is truly in her element underwater. Always cheerful and full of energy, she never skips a dive — even when she could! Her love for the ocean is contagious, and it’s no wonder we call her our very own mermaid.

Hamada was born on the Sinai and has been connected to the sea since childhood. Before becoming a dive instructor, he captained several liveaboard yachts — an experience that gives him exceptional insight into dive planning, currents, and the unique challenges of the Red Sea. Now, he combines his seafaring expertise with a deep passion for diving.

Gaffar is one of the most experienced divemasters not just in our team, but in all of Egypt. With over 15,000 dives in the Red Sea over the past 30 years, he knows its reefs, wrecks, and hidden corners like no one else. A true legend beneath the surface.

Olga has been living in Egypt for many years and brings with her a wealth of experience diving in Hurghada and across the Red Sea. Calm, attentive, and endlessly passionate about the ocean, she’s the kind of guide who makes both beginners and experienced divers feel at ease. With Olga, every dive is relaxed and safe.

Mido is one of our most experienced instructors and dive guides, known for his calm presence underwater and great sense of humor on the surface. Some say he has a secret telepathic link with dolphins — but he won't admit it.
