What You’ll Learn
During your introductory scuba diving experience, you’ll get familiar with scuba equipment, learn simple underwater hand signals, and practice how to breathe and move comfortably below the surface. While this is not a certification course, it gives you a real taste of scuba diving and the confidence to continue your training if you wish to earn your full NDL certification later.
Introductory Dive - Schedule
Arrival & Briefing Your day begins at the marina aboard our comfortable twin-engine dive yacht. We keep groups small to ensure a relaxed and personal experience. As we cruise toward the dive site, your instructor provides a detailed safety and skills briefing to help you feel confident before entering the water.
Equipment & Practice All diving gear is included and properly fitted for you. Before diving, you’ll practice breathing and buoyancy techniques on the surface — a simple, reassuring way to prepare for your first descent.
Your First Dive Enjoy your introductory scuba dive on a calm, colorful reef ideal for beginners. Under close supervision, you’ll explore up to 5–7 meters for about 20–30 minutes, surrounded by tropical fish and vibrant corals — the perfect introduction to scuba diving in the Red Sea.
Relax on Board After surfacing, unwind on our spacious yacht. Take a refreshing shower, relax on the shaded deck, or enjoy lunch prepared by our onboard chef. Snorkeling gear is available if you’d like to keep exploring before the second dive.
Second Dive & Return If you’re ready for more, join a second scuba discovery dive at a different reef. On the way back to the marina, relax with tea or coffee, review your dive photos, and relive your underwater adventure.

An Introductory Dive is a guided dive for beginners. You will receive a thorough briefing on the basics of diving, breathing underwater, underwater signs, and safety procedures. Then, you’ll dive one-on-one with an instructor in shallow, calm waters, enjoying the beauty of Red Sea’s pristine reefs.
We conduct Introductory Dives in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, directly from our comfortable and spacious boat. The depth is shallow (5–7 meters max), ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The entire experience, including transfer to the yacht, sailing times, the briefing, lunch & break takes about 7 hours, from approximately 8:00 until 15:00-16:00 depending on the divesite of the day. You get two dives included in this package, with each one lasting between 20 and 30 minutes.
Basic swimming skills are recommended but not mandatory. You will be closely supervised by an instructor, and you’ll wear a buoyancy control device (BCD) that helps keep you afloat at all times.
Yes, when done correctly and under professional supervision. Our instructors follow strict safety protocols, and you will always be guided and assisted underwater. All introductory dives onboard our vessels are done strictly one-on-one with your individual instructor, which allows him to be focused on you at all times during your dive. All our diving gear is sourced from world’s most trusted manufacturers like Scubapro, is regularly serviced and replaced when needed.
The maximum depth for an introductory dive is 12 meters, but most first dives are between 5–8 meters, where marine life is abundant and conditions are most comfortable.
Yes! The minimum age for an Introductory Dive is 10 years old.
Just bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen (look for ocean-friendly one!), and a positive attitude! We provide all diving equipment. Mineral water, hot and soft drinks, freshly prepared lunch are available onboard and are included in the cost of your trip.
Absolutely! If you loved your Introductory Dive, the next step is to take the Open Water Diver (OWD) certification course, which allows you to dive anywhere in the world.
